We stayed at Macara for a few days and it was a truly wonderful break. The rooms were spacious and fresh, with a lovely view of the lake and mountains, and the staff were attentive and friendly. Check-in was fast, every request was handled and there were no extra charges. Breakfasts and restaurant meals were varied and tasty, and the grounds are beautifully kept.
Wonderful location and view. We came back for a second time and realised this is our favourite place. Lovely grounds, a cosy room, tasty breakfasts, a great restaurant and good staff. Highly recommend.
